St Peter And St Paul Church

A spectre in medieval clothing has been seen in the church, walking across the nave towards the far wall. The figure was said to appear when the building is almost empty. A young woman dressed in white has also been seen, walking slowly through the church from the altar steps to disappear near a door at the southern end; some say she was a 17th century parishioner who was in love with the rector at the time. A woman in a long black coat is another resident spectre, seen outside the church, before vanishing in plain sight.
