No 5 Eat and Drink (Closed)

When this building was a clothes shop, clothes in the basement would billow as if blown by a breeze, trainers would move, tobacco would be smelt, the sound of something moving would be heard and a dark shadow seen. A figure was followed into the stockroom, but no one was there upon investigation, and the sensation of a small dog jumping up and clawing at the proprietor's leg was felt. There are other stories attached to this building too.

Update: 16/4/2025 The restaurant responded to my Facebook query for any recent activity; the building has been an eatery for four years and my correspondent took over a year and a half ago. In that time, they have had "loads of activities" and provided a few pieces of CCTV footage. The first segment came from the time that the property was a barbers (probably Perrins) and showed a brief flash in the corner and a drawer then opens by itself. In the second piece of footage (taken on March 21st) the top of a cocktail shaker on the counter spins by itself.
