Gloucester PrisonBarrack Square, Gloucester, Gloucestershire GL1 2JN 0330 111 8227 Poltergeist-like activity in some of the cells have been blamed on "Jenny", a woman who was murdered in the 15th century at the Abbey that once stood here. There are unconfirmed stories that, before the prison was decommissioned, she actually appeared to inmates, "mocking and tautning" them.
