The George Hotel

When the pub was a coaching inn, a woman in room 27 surprised a burglar and was stabbed; it is said her spirit still haunts the room, either physically or as a grey mist, during which the temperature drops; witnesses are said to have seen a lady "cowering over in pain." A Grey Lady has also been seen in the old reception area. Water taps and lights turn on and off in the cellar (though this might refer to the branch of Prezzo next door).
