Little Wymondley Priory

Wardrobe and cupboard doors in a bedroom in the former nave have been seen opening and closing by themselves; the witness to this felt as if the bed she was lying on was being tipped up. In addition, a monk, believed to be a former prior, has been seen walking on the roadway towards the priory.

Update 28/9/20: Jay Hope of the Priory replied to my email saying, "...we have both full time staff and part time staff all of whom have tales of mysterious happenings. Clocks falling from walls, speakers that have been turned off crackling away and the sounds of people working when the barn is ostensibly empty. Glasses flying off the bar, late at night when our bar manager was clearing away. Poor manager also had a cup of tea ‘forced’ out of her hand. Toilet doors that were closed opening, that kind of thing." When asked if the described phenomena happened recently, I was told "Yes, the phenomena listed happened in the last few years. Its something with live with because the atmosphere here is very benign."
