The Woodman Inn

Poltergeist-like behaviour has been reported here, and it is speculated that it may be a phantom airman who was based at a nearby base and lost his life in World War 2. Phenomena include a chair being pulled out, or pushed back under a table; footsteps have also been heard upstairs, and pictures have fallen off walls. There are also stories of a small old lady with silver hair walking through the bar.
