Courtesy of Dr Steph Lay; c.2015 when this building hosted "Party Mad", a fancy dress shop, a customer heard "footsteps, the sounds of people moving around and even muffled voices" coming from upstairs but the assistant said that there was no-one up there. A CCTV monitor showed several "vague and indistinct" shadowy figures moving about on the floor above them. When the assistant was told of this, she admitted, "Yeah, the shop’s haunted."
