Warwick Arms Hotel

A faceless woman has been seen in one of the bedrooms.

Update 9/2/22: Helen, a receptionist, replied to my query for any recent phenomena: "We haven’t had any encounters as such for a while." However, things seem to have picked up when I recontacted the hotel two years later, and Daisy Middlebrook informed me, "Most commonly we have housekeepers hearing children’s laughter and voices outside of rooms but the corridor is empty. We’ve had reports of objects moved in rooms, (one lady’s phone had moved from her bedside table to the foot of her bed) and some have even claimed to see figures moving." When asked about the figures, I was told, "The only one that was described to me in great detail was the figure of a gentleman who passed through a room moving upwards as though he was ascending a staircase that was no longer there. He paid the guest no mind and passed upwards and out of the room. That particular room others have mentioned feeling a presence or seeing something (the figure of a woman) out of the corner of their eye and in fact one guest was so unsettled by his experience that he asked for a new room, although he didn’t give details on his experience. Others have mentioned things and staff have stories of people saying they saw something in years gone by but none in any great detail. These experiences are not common but we do hear such reports from guests from time to time." Daisy said that they don't publicise the room numbers in case it puts people off staying in them!
