The Minster Tavern1 Minster Place, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB7 4EL 01353 668492 An information board in this pub says, "One of our resident ghosts is believed to be a monk who thumps around upstairs most nights of the week. He's also partial to a pint of real ale in the middle of the night...numerous pints have been spirited away from the cellar around 4am!" On 30th June 2024 I visited this pub and asked the landlady about anything paranormal. She replied that although she knew of the stories, in her five years of residency, she had encountered nothing. |
