The Falls

A "White Lady," whose appearance spells misfortune for those who see her, is said to walk this area, the remains of an old manor house's garden terrace and ponds. The phantom is said to be Lady Stanhope, a former resident and who accidentally killed her gardner when he trod on some of her favourite flowers.
