Although the current belief that this was a leper residence is open to debate, a spectral figure matching this description has been seen here. He is said to have a ravaged face, grotesquely deformed and having gaping sockets where eyes used to be, and walking with unsteady steps. He is said to hold a wooden disc, believed to be a plate and his appearance is sometimes heralded by the sound of a bell. Also seen here is a ghostly white rabbit with flaming red eyes whose appearance marks the imminent death of the witness.
