RAF Feltwell

Wilton Road (B1112), Feltwell, Norfolk IP26 4HH

A phantom Lancaster bomber is said to be heard when fog enshrouds the base; it is rumoured that a similar aircraft crashed in similar weather conditions during the last war. Other spectral aircraft are even said to land and taxi to the hanger - in some reports the crew even depart their craft. RAF personnel, wearing World War 2 flying gear have been seen in one of the rooms and in another building items have been found moved, alarms activate for no reason, an "glowing red eyes" seen; guard dogs refuse to enter this building. There are a multitude of other stories on the base including calls from phones that had not been connected, a staff member having his shoulder grabbed, the sounds of an air raid siren and people running, batteries and lightbulbs having short lifespans - and a poltergeist named "Herbie" who loves to tamper with clocks and hides cans and bottles of beer!
