Once "The Grove Inn", the building is now flats and it is not known if phenomena is still occurring here. But in the past, a phantom looking like a Quaker and given the nickname "Percy" has been seen here. He was described as tranparent and would glide right through people, and his presence was accompanied by a feeling of coldness. He was also blamed for small items moving by themselves. A child crying has also been heard during the night, and the spectre of a youngster was once seen in a guest's room. There have also been reports of noisy footsteps upstairs and a door that opened by itself and then slammed shut, the handle having been seen to turn by witnesses - the room on the other side was empty.
