The Ostrich

Dating back to the 16th century, this pub has had a number of spectral encounters including two workers feeling a rush of air as something barged past them; the son of one of the barmaids had also heard his name called out but there was no one in the room when he checked. "Lots of monks" have been seen in the past crossing a doorway where the old kitchen used to be and there are rumours of a tunnel in the cellar that leads to the church. The current licensee informs me that all is presently quiet.
