This, and the two shops next door once comprised a much larger building, and a phantom has been seen to walk through a crowded bar and then through a window that was once a doorway. Another presence, known as "Bad Tom" is blamed for mischief including drops in temperature and staff being locked in a storeroom. A rarely seen coachman has been reported in the public house, while behind the bar is the phantom of a small child who likes to move glasses round.
