The Maid's Head

The sound of heavy footsteps have been heard here, prompting one cleaner to look in that direction. Her brush, propped against the bar, jumped and she fled when she heard the sounds of an invisible person running towards her. The landlord had also experienced something similar upstairs, and on the stairs. The claimed ghosts in the building are; a man in "a frilly neck collar" observed in the kitchen area by the head chef; a little girl, seen by the landlord reaching out for a vase of flowers in the bar; a little boy upstairs who was either a murder or suicide victim; and a violent man who is believed to be the source of the footsteps and running sounds.
