Many residents had reported children in this care home, and a few had even asked for a child to be taken off their bed at night. Wet children's footprints have been seen coming from rooms in newly mopped floors. In the majority of cases, patients would pass away within a week of the sightings. A regular patient and an employee saw a door open slightly, and then a face which seemed to be glowing, peered into the room; the door then closed again. The patient wasn't placated that this was another employee and refereed to him as "Mr Ghost Man" from then on! There have been tales of doors being opened, handles being rattled and taps being turned on in locked rooms.
