Sudbury Hall

Queen Adelaide is believed to walk down the stairs of this house. She is dressed in black and looks ashen faced and pauses at the bottom step, where she vanishes. Another lady, this one in green velvet, wanders through the upper corridors; she sometimes appears in "a green mist." Other ghosts include that of a maid who was seen looking at a guest's baby daughter; and a young girl who was burnt to death in an accident.
