Old Hall

It is said that every November, on the anniversary of their brawl, a Cavalier and a Roundhead re-enact their fight to the death in one of the bedrooms, known as "The Duel Room".

Update 16/8/20: Dan Crocker of the hall tells me, "Neither we nor any of the previous owners we have spoken to, spanning back several decades, have discovered any evidence of a ghost at the Old Hall. But that's not to say that it isn't a good story, which remains a popular part of village folklore."
