St Helen's Church

A witness passing the graveyard in 1984 witnessed a man wearing "dark trousers, a white shirt and a big black hat" cutting the grass with a scythe. The figure was said to have a "grainy" look to him, like an old black and white picture. The figure also made no sound during his toil. At another time at the nearby pedestrian entrance to the park, a child saw people with black coats and hats, apparently having come from the church and heading into the park. The child's mother saw nothing.
