Penrhyn Castle

Shadowy figures, footsteps made by someone, or something seemingly with a limp, and the apparitions of a man and a girl, a housekeeper with a bunch of keys and a maid called "Polly" who died when she fell down the stairs, have all been experienced here. The nearby railway museum has the spectre of a young boy, seen running past an engine before vanishing; a figure in a carriage has also been seen, too.

Update 30/9/21: The Facebook team informs me, " I'm afraid (or quite glad!) we haven't heard any recent reports of ghosts or any odd or inexplicable phenomena here."
