Valley Station

This is a request stop and both the driver and guard look out for passengers flagging down the train. From time to time, they have seen a man on the platform, describing him as "wearing modern clothing such as a baseball cap and a short jacket." The train stops for such a male but in the few seconds it takes for the guard to operate the door and step out onto the platform the figure has gone, - and there is nowhere for him to go. Staff were adamant that there was a figure there as the train pulls in.
