Ghost entry for this location:

The Wheatsheaf

Raby Mere Road, Raby, Wirral, Merseyside CH63 4JH
0151 336 3416

The haunting here is blamed on the ghost of a little girl, said to be named "Charlotte" who died in a fire here in 1611. She sometimes appears and is thought to make objects move, seemingly by themselves. One story is that a diner went to the toilet upstairs and when she returned she asked at the bar if the building was haunted. When she was told that it was meant to be, she told the staff that she had seen the reflection of a girl in the mirror.

Update 17/7/22: Phil, the owner, replied to my Facebook query for any recent phenomena: "Never seen anything at the Wheatsheaf in all honesty.. 26 years there No repeorts other than legend."
