Doncaster RoadLudwell Hill/Hangman's Stone Road, High Melton, South Yorkshire DN5 7TE At this junction is said to be a headless figure in a dress, her (?) body spattered in bed. The ghost is believed to be that of a Celtic warrior in a kilt whose decapitated body was found during demolition work in the 1960s. Since then the ghost is a rare sight. |
