Woodsome Hall Golf Club

A former estate steward is said to "inhabit" a room here named after him (Rimmington's Closet) due to strange noises coming from within; but an exorcism to remove him may have been thwarted when he transformed into a robin, to return when he wanted (!) He is also said to have been seen on Woodsome Lane on horseback with a pack of hounds following him. However, it would seem that there is little historical validation for these tales (they are included here for reference only).
