The Rake Tapas

A phantom cavalier walks the upstairs landing and is said to be "a merry ghost with a twinkling eye and a rumbling laugh which makes the seventeenth century timbers rattle." Before it was replaced, the sign outside the premises used to be a laughing cavalier, "a close likeness of the ghost."
