The Fleece InnJepson Lane, Elland, West Yorkshire HX5 0BB 01422 648353 A headless coachman wearing a leather coat and sitting on a coach pulled by two headless horses emerge at midnight from a long gone barn adjacent to the pub and then down Dog Lane and back. Other phantoms include "a shepherd, a young man who died in a motorcycle accident and a woman murdered by her father in the 17th century" and "shadowy figures" that move between the rooms. Knockings, cold spots, a recurring bloodstain, "a dancing chair" (!), glasses falling off shelves and breaking, and the pub dog reacting "strangely" have also been experienced inside the pub.
