Leeds Industrial Museum

Armley Mills, Canal Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS12 2QF

People have reported a force trying to push them down the stairs here. There are also stories of "doors opening and shutting, sounds of a small child crying, and a figure of a [Victorian] woman wearing a black dress." There are also tales of a man in a top hat.

Update 19/3/20 Lesley Durkin, the Site Development Officer informs me that, "There is nothing that I can add to what was recorded in past books. Mainly that some people have felt something heavy at their back and/or pushing them while going down the stairs ... We have a member of staff who thinks that he saw a couple walking along a gallery but nobody else was aware that anybody was in the Museum. We have also had an occasion when a bobbin was thrown through the air in an area where nobody could have done it. This incident was reported by a very sensible member of staff."
